For those of you who missed the Open House, below is a schedule of the events occuring this week.

Work Nights

The weather is finally allowing us an opportunity to work on the track in order to ensure it is in the best shape possible for the Practice Night and our 1st Race Day. If you wish to volunteer on any of the nights, please respond to this e-mail with your preferred date. Any help is greatly appreciated. Most of the work will include smoothing out the surface, trimming of grass, general clean-up.

Tuesday: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Wednesday: 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Practice Night:

1st Race Event Date:

You MUST register within the time noted above.  The 1st day will be busy so please arrive early if possible.  The track will be open during registration for practice.  If you haven’t yet registered, you still have an opportunity to qualify for the early bird special rate.  Please bring your registration forms on the Practice Night, June 2nd.

Hello everyone!

Here is an update on a few activities the Ottawa BMX Association is working on.

Item #1 – Open House

A friendly reminder of the Ottawa BMX Open House which is scheduled for Saturday May 28th from 10:00am to noon. This event will go on rain or shine, so we hope to see you there. It will be a perfect opportunity to receive your Early Bird registration special for a season membership.

Item #2 – Track Preparation

In preparation for the Open House and the season opener on June 4th, the BMX track requires some maintenance. The Club has scheduled some track maintenance events for this Thursday and Friday (weather permitting), from 5:30 to 8:30pm. If you are interested in participating to create a smooth and a safe track for the riders then please send us an e-mail or just show up at the track. We appreciate any help that can be provided.

Item #3 – Chocolate Fundraiser

Thank you to all that are participating in this event which has been on-going since May 14th. In an effort to reach our target, we will continue our chocolate sales immediately following the Open House event. Please speak with an Executive member during the Open House if you wish to participate. The location is to be determined.

Early Bird Special: $215.00* (Available until June 4, 2011)
First Family Member: 245.00* (In effect as of June 5, 2011)
Second Family Member: 225.00*
Third/Additional Family Member: 215.00*
Pay as you Go: $60.00**

*Note: All fees include $55.00 ABA membership fees.
**Note: Pay as you go price only includes $55.00 ABA fee, does not include race entry fees.
