For those that are wanting to try out another track and experience another race environment, Upstate BMX (http://www.upstatebmx.com/) is hosting the New York State Finals Sept 19 (Double Pts)-20 (Triple Pts). Sept 18th is a Single Pts race. Talk to Reg for more details.

BIRTHDAY RACE!

Thursday Night’s Race is another theme race. We are going to celebrate all BMX’ers Birthdays. Cake, balloons and gift exchange for the riders. If a rider wants to be part of the gift exchange, here is how….$10 limit on the gift, bring to the race and exchange with another BMX’er. (Officials will help make sure those participating have an exchange).
It should be a blast! Let’s have some fun at the close of the summer!

Revised Schedule Announced!

Due to recent rain outs we have revised the schedule and will be racing the following dates in August.

Thursday, August 13
Saturday, August 15 – Provincial Qualifer
Tuesday, August 18
Thursday, August 20
Tuesday, August 25
Thursday, August 27
Future rain dates, if needed, will be in September on Tuesday nights once we switch back to Saturday racing during the school year.

For those of you who ordered the Redline Cup Qualifier t-shirts we are happy to announce that they have arrived and we will have them ready at our next race.
If there is anybody who has not yet bought a shirt and would like to do so, simply either tell Reg Bertrand, Jackie Bertrand, or Kevin Woodward the size you would like, or alternatively send us an email.
It takes approximately a week for our printer to deliver the shirts.
Due to the undesirable weather this summer we are currently in a situation where we are 3 races behind schedule. As a result, we will be looking at posting a revised schedule for the rest of the season next week allowing us to make up these missed races.
We will announce the changes both on our website as well as email, so keep checking back regularly.
As it is now, we will keep the practice that is currently scheduled for Thursday, August 6th as there is work required to be done on the track due to rain damage.
Some of you may have noticed, we have acquired a stripped down lawn mower which will be used to pull our newly acquired drag mat and roller allowing us to groom the track quickly.
