We would like to thank our many volunteers who help out each and every week prior to and after each race. Additionally, we would like to take a moment to specifically think those who came out to Monday’s work night to help get the track into shape after rain that passed through our region.

Thursday Night Races

Please take note that we have changed the registration times for the upcoming Thursday Night Races to 6:00-6:30pm as the initial plan was to start an hour later and race under the lights. Unfortunately, plans to have lights installed did not pan out thus forcing the change in registration times.
Reminder Registration for Sunday is Pre only

Just a small reminder to everyone that to race on Sunday, you must pre-register on Saturday. Only corrections are made on Sunday.
New Forums

We have added the forums to our site to encourage our members to become more involved in road trips, general discussions, bike mechanic questions, and more! Changes will be happening over the next few weeks to get the best organization, but please don’t wait to get involved!
August 3 Race – Rain Out

Due to the weather, tonights race is rained out. The race will be made up on the scheduled rain out date in August.
Practice for Thursday, August 5 has been changed to a Work Night. We ask that all parents who are available come out to help ready the track for the weekend.

Canada Day Weekend

A few people have contacted me today about Canada Day. The online schedule (www.ottawabmx.com) is misleading.
July 1st – Canada Day is showing “All Day Event” on the website. The website has a tool that pulls our schedule into the current format you see, which will be corrected. This is only supposed to show as a “National Holiday”. There are no scheduled events for Ottawa BMX on Canada Day. Enjoy your holiday with your family.
The weekend schedule is:
Friday, July 2nd – SINGLE PTS – Registration 6:00 – 6:30 – “Canada Day theme”
***Wear red and white, paint your face, wave your flags***
Saturday, July 3rd – REDLINE CUP RACE – Registration 11:00 – 11:45 – TRIPLE PTS
Sunday, July 4th – SINGLE PTS – RACE TIME 8:30 AM
***Note: No registration Sunday, you must register Friday or Saturday for the race Sunday. Moto sheets will be prepared in advance and posted when the gate opens.****
